Proms Extra: Pre-concert talks

Proms Extra is our name for all the events that happen around the BBC Proms Australia concerts – free talks and special events at Hamer Hall, including fun participation events for all ages and musical ability.

Proms Extra pre-concert talks enhance Proms-goers’ engagement with the concert programmes by providing context and insight, creating entry points and making the music more accessible to new and seasoned audiences alike. Proms-goers can listen to conductors and artists alike talk before attending their Prom. Programme subject to change.
